Kennedy Bay Links | Dress Requirements

Hole 1: Par 4

(Black Tees: 366m, Blue Tees: 345m, White Tees: 332m, Red Tees: 303m)

Aim left off the tee to avoid rolling into the fairway traps

Hole 2: Par 4

(Black Tees: 354m, Blue Tees: 348m, White Tees: 329m, Red Tees: 302m)

Ease shot down in front of the traps for a short shot in. Keep second shot away from the left green side bunkers.

Hole 3: Par 3

(Black Tees: 162m, Blue Tees: 157m, White Tees: 141m, Red Tees: 111m)

Keep tee shot to the right to avoid deep left bunker

Hole 4: Par 5

(Black Tees: 520m, Blue Tees: 497m, White Tees: 471m, Red Tees: 438m)

Danger at 210m off the tee. Keep second shot to the left or you will be in trouble.

Hole 5: Par 4

(Black Tees: 419m, Blue Tees: 412m, White Tees: 385m, Red Tees: 357m)

Tee shot is the key. Bunkers at 183m, 210m,233m and 255m. Large green, keep second long and left.

Hole 6: Par 3

(Black Tees: 195m, Blue Tees: 179m, White Tees: 175m, Red Tees: 149m)

Best to be long and avoid the bunkers at the front

Hole 7: Par 4

(Black Tees: 285m, Blue Tees: 278m, White Tees: 261m, Red Tees: 239m)

Shallow green, best to leave a full wedge shot to stop it at the top.

Hole 8: Par 5

(Black Tees: 495m, Blue Tees: 472m, White Tees: 448m, Red Tees: 408m)

Keep right off the tee, cautious lay up over the bunkers to leave 90m to the green.

Hole 9: Par 4

(Black Tees: 407m, Blue Tees: 400m, White Tees: 373m, Red Tees: 335m)

Need to be in the middle of the fairway off the tee to get a good shot at the green. Par here is good golfing.

Hole 10: Par 4

(Black Tees: 390m, Blue Tees: 370m, White Tees: 366m, Red Tees: 338m)

Aim to the right side of the fairway and you should carry the bunkers.

Hole 11: Par 4

Try to get on the left side of the split to get a good look at the green.

Hole 12: Par 4

((Black Tees: 330m, Blue Tees: 309m, White Tees: 294m, Red Tees: 254m)

Avoid the temptation of the green and try to get up on the right mound of the fairway.

Hole 13: Par 5

(Black Tees: 508m, Blue Tees: 493m, White Tees: 479m, Red Tees: 443m)

Narrow fairway so you must avoid trouble. Aim left of the tee.

Hole 14: Par 3

(Black Tees: 172m, Blue Tees: 154m, White Tees: 144m, Red Tees: 115m)

Make sure you have enough club. Watch the wind.

Hole 15: Par 4

(Black Tees: 382m, Blue Tees: 362m, White Tees: 345m, Red Tees: 314m)

Aim to the right side of the fairway and catch the ridge.

Hole 16: Par 3

(Black Tees: 138m, Blue Tees: 125m, White Tees: 120m, Red Tees: 106m)

Only a short hole of 120m. Don’t go right or left. Long isn’t good either.

Hole 17: Par 5

(Black Tees: 498m, Blue Tees: 481m, White Tees: 453m, Red Tees: 410m)

A true 2 shot hole. Play safely and avoid fairway bunkers.

Hole 18: Par 4

(Black Tees: 394m, Blue Tees: 370m, White Tees: 363m, Red Tees: 335m)

Tight approach to the green. It is best to have a bit of extra club.
 

The Links Kennedy Bay is a thinking golfers paradise. Players need to plot their way around the links in a reserved and cautious manner. Any untamed bravado will be dealt with in the severest manner.
