village centre
Development of the Kennedy Bay village centre plans have been approved, with construction anticipated to commence in 2026. The plans feature a beachfront corso with a boutique grocer, café and restaurant, sitting alongside boutique hotel accommodation, Long Point Brewing Co. and the public jetty.
The corso and village centre will be surrounded by apartments and townhouses, and attractive landscaped streets. The village centre is only metres from some of WA’s most stunning swimming beaches and will be a bustling hub that will welcome residents and the public community.
jetty
The public jetty will be the centrepiece of Kennedy Bay. Plans have been approved and construction is set to begin in 2026. The $7 million plus community asset will support boating, swimming, and fishing activities that integrate with the broader development plans for Kennedy Bay’s Village Centre.
The jetty will be approximately 140m long and will range in width from 3 – 8m. The jetty deck will be 4.5m above the water and will include lower-level platforms for access to the water and vessels.
For boating enthusiasts, Kennedy Bay offers a world-class, sheltered bay with protection from prevailing sea breezes, an ideal setting for a relaxed visit. Small boat owners will have the opportunity to moor overnight and experience the full range of amenities and attractions that make Kennedy Bay a family-friendly coastal destination.
